Musculoskeletal
physiotherapy/Ringwood Headache Clinic
Musculoskeletal
Physiotherapists have undertaken post graduate training to assist in
specialisation of spinal, sports and joint diagnosis and treatment. This is
over and above the physiotherapy degree. We participate in the continuation
education requirements of being a titled Musculoskeletal/Manipulative
Physiotherapist. Our clinic is also undertaking accreditation to the Watson
Headache Clinic to enable specialisation in the treatment of headache
patients. Clinical Pilates
Clinical Pilates
is a form of exercise which are tailored for the individual, it is commonly

Hydrotherapy
is water based exercise conducted in a warm pool. All exercises are individually tailored to

links. Real-time Ultrasound
Ultrasound (US)
or sonography involves the sending of sound waves through the body.
Those sound waves are reflected off the internal body parts. The
reflections are then interpreted by special instruments that subsequently
create an image of anatomic parts. Real-time Ultrasound is particularly
effective for patients with chronic low back pain. For

with therapeutic and/or correctional

Health
Research has shown physiotherapy to be effective in treating
